Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using DueCast ("the Service"), operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME — CONFIRM BEFORE LAUNCH] ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using DueCast, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation.

2. Description of Service

DueCast is a subscription-based web application that helps businesses track contract and vendor renewals. The Service includes:

  • Uploading contract documents (PDFs, images, CSV/Excel);
  • AI-assisted extraction of renewal details such as vendor name, renewal date, cost, auto-renewal status, and related fields;
  • Review and editing of extracted data before saving;
  • Reminders, dashboards, timelines, and reporting to help you manage renewals;
  • Optional advisory features for eligible subscription plans.

You remain responsible for verifying the accuracy of any extracted or imported data. AI extraction is provided as a convenience, not a substitute for legal or financial review.

3. Subscription Plans, Billing, and Renewals

DueCast offers a free tier (limited to 2 contracts) that requires no payment method. Upgrading to a paid plan (Lite, Pro, Premium, or Managed Service) is a separate, optional action you choose to take — the free tier does not convert into a paid subscription on its own, and there is no trial that starts charging automatically. Pricing and included limits are described on our pricing page. Once you opt in to a paid plan, RevenueCat Web Billing manages your subscription and entitlements; the card payment is processed by Stripe, RevenueCat's underlying payment processor.

  • By opting in to a paid plan you authorise recurring billing through our payment partner (Stripe). Billing periods may be monthly or yearly depending on the plan you select.
  • Paid subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.
  • You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account or billing management page. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Fees are non-refundable for partial periods unless required by applicable law.
  • We may change subscription fees upon notice. Changes take effect at the start of your next billing period after we notify you.

4. Free tier

DueCast offers a free tier limited to 2 saved contracts with no payment method required. Free-tier limits are subject to change.

5. User Accounts and Responsibilities

To use most features of the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials;
  • All activity that occurs under your account;
  • Ensuring any information you upload, import, or enter is accurate and does not violate any law or third-party right;
  • Keeping your contact details up to date so we can send renewal reminders and account notices.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Upload, store, or share unlawful, infringing, or confidential material you are not authorised to process;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its systems;
  • Interfere with the Service's availability, security, or integrity;
  • Resell, reverse-engineer, or scrape the Service without our written consent;
  • Send unsolicited communications or spam through any Service feature.

7. Intellectual Property

DueCast, including its code, design, branding, and AI models, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the documents and data you upload. By uploading content, you grant us a limited licence to process it solely to provide the Service to you.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties / Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to missed renewal dates, incorrect extraction results, or lost savings. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service or close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, pose a security risk, or engage in unlawful activity. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, and we may delete or retain your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or by posting a notice within the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
